Alec Musser, All My Children star, who tragically passed away at his Del Mar, CA home, as reported by TMZ, is said to have died by suicide.
The San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office revealed that Musser’s fiancée discovered him last Saturday, having succumbed to an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The distressing incident unfolded when his fiancée found him on the bathroom floor with a shotgun nearby. Promptly calling 911, paramedics confirmed Musser’s demise upon arrival.
The official report from the ME’s office confirmed the cause of death as suicide. Musser’s fiancée, Paige Press, had initially confirmed his passing over the weekend, choosing to share the heartbreaking news on social media later. In her tribute, she remembered Musser as “the best fiancé I could have ever asked for.” Alec Musser was widely recognised for his role as Del Henry in All My Children and had made appearances in popular productions like Grown Ups, Desperate Housewives and various other shows throughout his career. The entertainment industry mourns the loss of this talented actor.
