African Artistes Unite for Covid-19 Awareness Song.

Yemi Alade, Ben Pol, and Amanda Black explain why 10 musicians from 7 countries came together for this cause.

The root of the collaboration is to inspire Africans everywhere going through the harrowing effects of the Covid-19 pandemic and let them know that we can get through this, together.

The project features 10 music minds from 7 different countries in Africa and is an amazing sonic collective to say the least.

Singer and Songwriter, Yemi Alade from Nigeria describes the initiative as some sort of intercontinental buffet because there are a series of authentic musical flavours available in several African languages.

The music project titled ‘Stand Together’ is a ONE campaign initiative with support from Bono of U12 and features music artistes like Ahmed Soultan, Amanda Black ( South Africa), Teni ( Nigeria), 2Baba( Nigeria), Yemi Alade( Nigeria), Ben Pol (Tanzania) to name a few.
