US artistes Nelly and Ashanti will embark on their first official joint headline tour in 2027, the couple revealed in an interview ahead of the release of their reality show, “Nelly & Ashanti: We Belong Together,” per capitalxtra.com.
“We’re doing a lot of shows, but the tour tour is next year, us,” Nelly said. “We’re going out on tour together.”
Ashanti said the couple do not tire of each other’s company, explaining that they spend much of their time travelling and value time together.
The two have shared a stage several times, but this will be their first headline tour as a duo. No dates, venues or ticketing details have been announced, and it is unclear whether the tour will be limited to the US or extend to the UK.
Nelly and Ashanti began dating in the early 2000s after the rapper asked for her autograph. They split in 2013 and reconciled in 2023. They are now parents and have collaborated on the track “Body on Me”.
Fans have reacted enthusiastically online, with some saying they plan to buy tickets as soon as they go on sale.
