Angèle has released new single “Love Triangle,” a collaboration with American artist Caroline Polachek and French producer SebastiAn, ahead of her forthcoming third studio album, Instinct, per pitchfork.com.
The track premiered on BBC Radio 1 on September 29.
“Love Triangle” brings together Angèle, Polachek and SebastiAn on an electronic pop track featuring Polachek singing in French over production from the Ed Banger-affiliated producer.
The song is the latest preview of “Instinct,” the Belgian singer’s third album, scheduled for release on October 16. The record will also feature contributions from electronic acts Justice and Soulwax.
*Instinct* marks Angèle’s first full-length album since *Nonante-Cinq*, released in 2022. The singer has steadily expanded her international profile in recent years through collaborations across the pop and electronic music scenes.
For Polachek, the release adds to a run of collaborations following her 2023 solo album *Desire, I Want to Turn Into You*. She later issued an expanded “Everasking Edition” in 2024 and has since released a number of standalone singles, including projects with Danny L Harle and the English band caroline.
The collaboration brings together three prominent figures from contemporary European and alternative pop music, highlighting Angèle’s continued move towards high-profile international partnerships ahead of the release of *Instinct*.
