Rod Stewart has announced his retirement from touring after a career spanning more than six decades, confirming a final UK and European concert series titled The Final Encore for 2027, per faroutmagazine.co.uk.
The 81-year-old singer stated that the upcoming run will mark his final departure from life on the road. The tour begins on April 23 at the 3Arena in Dublin, followed by stops in Belfast on April 27 and Glasgow on April 29.
UK and Ireland dates continue into May, with performances scheduled in Birmingham on May 4, Manchester on May 6, and London on May 11, featuring support from Howard Jones. The veteran rock star will then transition to mainland Europe starting May 28 in Amsterdam, with subsequent shows in cities including Berlin, Copenhagen, Prague, and Munich before concluding the European leg in Hannover on July 24. Additional US dates are also scheduled for September.
Fan club ticket sales open on September 29, followed by general release on October 2. The announcement follows a series of health-related cancellations over the past year, including postponed North American dates following a heart procedure, as well as separate treatments for a sinus infection and laryngitis.
