University of Westminster hosts Tsitsi Dangarembga

The University of Westminster is set to host acclaimed Zimbabwean author and filmmaker Dr. Tsitsi Dangarembga for an engaging conversation with Dr Lookman Sanusi and Prof Winston Μαnο as part of the CAMRI Africa Conversation Series presented by the university and BubblesFM.

The multi-award-winning novelist, known for her powerful works exploring the complexities of post-colonial Zimbabwe and the experiences of women, will take centre stage on April 29 from 5:30pm to 8:30pm at the university’s Regent Street campus.

Dr. Dangarembga, celebrated for novels such as Nervous Conditions, will share insights into her literary journey, her perspectives on African storytelling, and her experiences as a playwright and filmmaker.

The event promises a stimulating dialogue, offering attendees a unique opportunity to hear directly from one of Africa’s most influential voices in contemporary literature and cinema.
