A suspect has been arrested after allegedly burglarizing the family home of singer Billie Eilish Thursday night, according to a Page Six report.
LAPD officers responded to a call from the Highland Park neighbourhood in Los Angeles, around 9:15 p.m., according to ABC 7.
The outlet reports the home belongs to Maggie Baird and Patrick O’Connell, parents of the Academy Award and seven-time Grammy winner.
It’s not clear if anything was stolen from the two-bedroom property at this time. The suspect was taken into custody, according to multiple reports.
Video footage of the suspect’s arrest showed a man handcuffed and restrained by at least 3 LAPD officers.
On Twitter, ABC7 correspondent Chris Cristi shared aerial shots of the home, saying LAPD robbery detectives are investigating the incident.
According to Cristi, the male suspect reportedly jumped a fence at the property.
As of late Thursday night, no injuries have been reported in the incident.
The “Bad Guy” hitmaker and her producer brother Finneas grew up at the home. Their parents still own the house. The 21-year-old previously said she still lives at home with her parents, despite amassing a net worth of $53 million, according to Forbes.
The home is worth an estimated $800,000, and her brother Finneas previously revealed that their parents slept on a futon in the living room so that the siblings could each have their own bedroom.
The property is where Billie and Finneas recorded much of her debut album, as the 25-year-old set up a makeshift recording studio in his bedroom.
