Sonia Kruger will be taking to the dance floor on the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars: All Stars although she will not be competing, says Daily Mail.
Citing an interview with The Morning Show on Monday, the daily reports that the 56-year-old veteran TV host revealed that she’ll be showing off her dance moves on the upcoming series.
Sonia currently hosts the hit dancing competition series, along with a slew of other shows for Channel Seven, including Big Brother and The Voice.
But after starting her career as a dancer, appearing in the 1992 Baz Luhrmann film, Strictly Ballroom, Sonia said she was excited to return to her roots.
‘It’s really funny, I didn’t think wild horses could drag me back onto the dance floor, but you better stay tuned for episode two because something happens there, a little bit of a surprise occurrence,’ she told The Morning Show.
Last week, Channel Seven released a teaser for next year’s season of Dancing With The Stars: All Stars.
The show will be hosted by Sonia and Daryl Somers, and will feature past favourites, including Ricki-Lee Coulter, Grant Denyer and Courtney Act.
Bridie Carter, Kylie Gillies, Olympia Valance, Rob Mills and Angie Kent are among the past competitors set to return.
There’ll also be several first-time competitors – known as ‘wildcards’ – with Sam Mac, Kris Smith, Deni Hines and Cameron Daddo all set to debut.
