Aisling Bea has shocked her fanbase as the trailer for her latest movie was released.
A reimagining of the iconic 1990 movie Home Alone, Home Sweet Home Alone sees Aisling Bea in the role of Carol, mother of 10-year-old Max, who is played by Archie Yates, who previously appeared in Jojo Rabbit, reports Metro.
According to the report, while Aisling is taking over the role from the marvellous Catherine O’Hara, who played Kevin’s (Macaulay Culkin) mum in the original and in Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, fans could not help but focus on one specific detail of the trailer: Aisling’s uncharacteristic English accent.
Many couldn’t help but take to Twitter to voice their shock at seeing the Irish actress without her usual intonation.
