Antonio Banderas has joined the star-studded cast of the upcoming Indiana Jones movie, it has been claimed.
The 60-year-old will be appearing opposite Harrison Ford for what is thought to be his last outing as the legendary daredevil, reports Metro.
The Puss In Boots actor is said to be among the cast involved, but it is not yet known who he will be playing in the blockbuster.
Mads Mikkelsen, Boyd Holbrook and Shaunette Renee Wilson are also diving head first into the action, while Phoebe Waller-Bridge was spotted in front of the camera in Glasgow recently.
Last month, it was reported that filming on the movie had been pushed back after Harrison was injured in a choreographed fight scene, in which he hurt his shoulder.
A statement released by Disney – who acquired the rights to the character in its purchase of Lucasfilm in 2012 – said: ‘In the course of rehearsing for a fight scene, Harrison Ford sustained an injury involving his shoulder.
‘Production will continue while the appropriate course of treatment is evaluated, and the filming schedule will be reconfigured as needed in the coming weeks.’
