Other artists on the line-up include Cassper Nyovest, BCUC, DBN Gogo, Ms Cosmo and Doc Shebeleza. They will be joined by K-$, FAKA, 25K, DJ Okapi, DJ Slick, Vigro Deep and Jumping Back Slash, among others.
The event will mark the second edition of the series of international festivals that launched in London in October last year.
“This festival is about the diversity of one city,” Boiler Room CEO Blaise Bellville said. “We are creating a first-of-its-kind immersive experience with music and installations that epitomise the vibrant underground music and cultural scene of Johannesburg.”
Meanwhile, Boiler Room and Ballentine’s last year launched a global initiative titled True Music Fund. The project, which launched in South Africa recently after debuting in Spain, seeks to support artists, fans, crews and communities around the world.
