Zoë Kravitz is giving Taylor Swift’s upcoming album, The Life of a Showgirl, her official stamp of approval, per rollingstone.com. The actress, who has been friends with the singer for nearly a decade, raved about the album, which she had “heard bits” of, calling it “fantastic” with “no skips” in a recent interview. She said having “no skips” is a rare feat, but not for the “Blank Space” singer.
Swift unveiled the new album during an appearance on the New Heights podcast with her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, and his brother Jason. The 12-track album, which includes a collaboration with Sabrina Carpenter on the title track, is set to be released on October 3. Swift described the album as a look into her “inner life” during her record-breaking Eras Tour, an experience she says was “exuberant and electric and vibrant.”
Following the album announcement, Swift released two new limited-edition vinyl variants, featuring “The Shiny Bug Edition” artwork. The vinyls, which come in “wintergreen and onyx marbled” and “violet shimmer marbled” colors, sold out almost instantly. The vinyls were exclusively available on her website for a limited time and were promised to be the “first and only pressing” of that variant
