Zaiam has released his debut seven-track EP “One In Town,” blending pop, R&B, and Afro-Caribbean influences into a confident statement of arrival.
The collection opens with “Move,” a high-energy club anthem, before shifting into “Pop,” which showcases Zaiam’s ability to ride Caribbean bounce and Afro-Alté melodies. The EP’s sonic journey continues with “Stylist,” an Afro-Dancehall groove celebrating fashion and attraction, and “Smooth Criminal,” a low-lit tribute to heartbreaking style.
Throughout the project, the Lagos-based Afro-fusion artiste demonstrates versatility across different personas—the smooth talker, lover, and rising star. Tracks like “Bad4Me” add emotional depth, while “Showoff” and “Trips” explore themes of lifestyle and young fame.
“This project is a piece of me,” Zaiam explains. “It’s about the things we want, the people we chase, and the confidence to know you’re one of one. I made this for everyone who wants to feel seen, heard, and fly.”
The EP positions the Nigerian artist as a compelling new voice in the Afro-fusion landscape, combining luxury aesthetics with seductive soundscapes designed for both intimate moments and dance floors.
“One In Town” is available on all major streaming platforms and Zaiam is on Instagram & X.
