Woman arrested after firing rifle at Rihanna’s Beverly Hills mansion

A 30-year-old woman was taken into custody on Sunday afternoon after allegedly firing an AR-15-style rifle at the Beverly Hills home of global music icon Rihanna, according to hip-hopvibe.com.

The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 1:15pm. Witnesses reported hearing up to 10 shots fired from a white Tesla parked across from the property’s gate. While several rounds struck the gate and an RV in the driveway, at least one bullet reportedly penetrated a wall of the mansion.

Officers, supported by a police helicopter, tracked the vehicle to the Sherman Oaks Galleria, roughly eight miles from the scene. The suspect was detained without further incident, and a weapon was recovered from the car.

“The quick arrival of law enforcement and use of aerial surveillance ensured the suspect was located swiftly,” an LAPD spokesperson confirmed.

Officials have confirmed that Rihanna was inside the residence at the time of the shooting. Fortunately, the 38-year-old singer was not injured. It remains unclear whether her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky, or their three children; RZA, Riot Rose and five-month-old Rocki Irish, were present during the attack.

Detectives are currently reviewing surveillance footage and ballistic evidence to determine a motive. No prior contact between the suspect and the residents has been established, and the woman’s identity has not yet been released pending formal charges.

Discharging a firearm in a residential area typically carries severe felony charges, including assault with a deadly weapon and reckless endangerment.
