Victoria Monét to publish children’s book ‘Everywhere You Are’

Victoria Monét, the acclaimed three-time Grammy winner, is set to embark on a new literary journey with the release of her debut children’s book, Everywhere You Are, per billboard.com. The book, which aims to comfort children experiencing separation anxiety, will be available on June 25, 2025, in both English and Spanish editions through Putnam Books for Young Readers, an imprint of Penguin Young Readers⁴.

Monét shared her excitement on Instagram, revealing the book’s cover and expressing her heartfelt intentions behind the project. “I wrote this book in honour of hardworking parents wanting to offer a consoling reminder to their children that even when a loved one isn’t right next to us, the love you have for each other still carries so much presence!” she wrote.

Everywhere You Are is described as a lyrical and heartwarming picture book. It follows a gentle moon as it comforts a young star when they part ways at dawn, inspired by Monét’s own experiences as a working parent. The book is illustrated by Alea Marley, adding a visual charm to Monét’s touching narrative.

“This book means so much to me!” Monét said in a statement. “I love many types of writing from poetry to music, and eventually script, and it has always been a special dream of mine to write children’s books. It brings so much joy to know that families will share moments of reflection, understanding, and quality time while reading this book for generations to come!”

Earlier this year, Monét celebrated her first Grammy win for Best New Artist at the 66th annual Grammy Awards. She also won Best R&B Album for Jaguar II and Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical. Monét’s songwriting prowess is well-known, with nine top 40 Billboard Hot 100 hits, including Ariana Grande’s chart-toppers “Thank U, Next” and “7 Rings”.

Monét’s foray into children’s literature is a testament to her versatility and passion for storytelling, promising to touch the hearts of both parents and children alike.
