Warner Bros. has released the second trailer for “One Battle After Another,” an upcoming action-thriller starring Leonardo DiCaprio, per movieweb.com. The film, directed by 11-time Oscar nominee Paul Thomas Anderson, sees DiCaprio as a former revolutionary on a frantic search for his daughter, leading to relentless confrontations.
This highly anticipated project marks Anderson’s first foray into IMAX and boasts his largest budget to date, exceeding $115 million. The movie, which was shot on film, promises Anderson’s distinctive visual and technical touch while blending genres for a unique cinematic experience.
DiCaprio expressed his long-standing desire to work with Anderson, stating he’s waited “20 years” for this collaboration.
The star-studded cast also includes Sean Penn, Benicio del Toro, Regina Hall, and Teyana Taylor. “One Battle After Another” is set to hit theatres on August 26.
