The family of actor Victoria Jones has broken their silence following her tragic passing on New Year’s Day, per faroutmagazine.co.uk. Victoria, the 34-year-old daughter of Oscar-winner Tommy Lee Jones, was found in the early hours of January 1 at the Fairmont San Francisco.

In a brief statement released to Rolling Stone, the family expressed their gratitude for the public’s support.
“We appreciate all of the kind words, thoughts and prayers. Please respect our privacy during this difficult time.”

First responders from the San Francisco Fire Department arrived at the hotel at 2:52am, where Victoria was declared deceased at the scene. While a formal cause of death has not yet been established, authorities have confirmed that no foul play is suspected.
Victoria was the second child of Tommy Lee Jones and his first wife, Kimberlea Cloughley. She followed in her father’s footsteps from a young age, appearing in several notable projects like Men in Black II (2002) – a childhood appearance alongside her father, The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada – a role in the critically acclaimed film directed by her father and One Tree Hill – a guest turn in the popular teen drama series.
Tommy Lee Jones had previously spoken with pride regarding Victoria’s talents, noting in 2005 that she was a dedicated professional and a fluent Spanish speaker. The pair were last seen publicly together at a Hollywood premiere in 2017.
Victoria is survived by her parents and her older brother, Austin Jones.
