Fans of The Weeknd will be in for a spooky treat this Halloween season. The Canadian superstar is bringing his “Nightmare Trilogy” to Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights, with a haunted house experience running from September 5 through November 3, per hiphopdx.com. The haunted house, which will be featured at both the Hollywood and Orlando locations, will bring to life the final chapter in The Weeknd’s current album trilogy.
The musician and producer Mike Dean have curated the music and visuals for the immersive experience.
This is not the first time The Weeknd has collaborated with Universal Studios on a Halloween attraction. In 2022, he hosted the “After Hours Nightmare” haunted house, which brought his hit 2020 album to terrifying life.
Fans have been eagerly awaiting details on the conclusion to The Weeknd’s album trilogy, which he has teased since early 2022. The artist has shared a series of cryptic teasers in recent months, hinting at the darker, more ominous tone of the forthcoming project.
While the title and release date of the final album remain under wraps, The Weeknd has been transparent about his plans to “close the Weeknd chapter” with this next release. Attendees of the “Nightmare Trilogy” haunted house will likely get a chilling preview of what’s to come.
