The unconventional narco-musical Emilia Perez emerged as the night’s biggest winner, claiming four prestigious awards, while the intense drama The Brutalist secured three significant victories, including Best Motion Picture – Drama.
Adrien Brody’s powerful performance in The Brutalist earned him the Best Actor in a Drama award, while director Brady Corbet took home the Best Director trophy for the same film. Emilia Perez dominated the Musical/Comedy categories and made history by also winning Best Non-English Language Film, showcasing the growing global influence in Hollywood.
The television categories saw the Japanese-American series Shogun sweep major dramatic awards, with both Hiroyuki Sanada and Anna Sawai winning in the leading actor categories.
