Paramount has released the first trailer for “Bob Marley: One Love,” the upcoming biopic that will highlight the life and legacy of the late reggae icon. The trailer features Kingsley Ben-Adir as Marley, showcasing the varying stages of his life from his beginnings in Jamaica to his rise to global fame. The trailer also shows glimpses of Marley performing on stage and relaxing with his family, painting a picture of his life.

The biopic is directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green, who previously directed King Richard, and the screenplay is written by Zach Baylin, Frank E. Flowers and Terence Winter.
Notably, Marley’s son Ziggy Marley joins the project as a producer. The trailer also sets the scene for Marley’s assassination attempt, which he survived.
The film is set to be released on January 12, 2024.
