SVNDAYPACK & Damitotheworld channel heartbreak into new single “Superhuman”

SVNDAYPACK, the Nigerian-born music production duo of Enosabor Omontuemhen (Enjahn) and Oziren Zedomi (Don Ozi), have unveiled their new single, “Superhuman,” a collaboration with rising singer-songwriter Damitotheworld. Operating between Lagos, London and the United States, the pair have built a reputation for genre-fluid music that fuses Afropop, R&B and alté sounds, and their latest offering is no different.

From its very first line, “Pain doesn’t last forever / At the 11th hour miracles tend to happen,” the track stakes out a tone of hard-won resilience. The “11th hour” here functions as more than lyrical flourish; it marks that pivotal moment when prolonged struggle gives way to clarity. Rather than lingering in heartbreak, “Superhuman” charts the arc of self-discovery and the quiet strength that comes from surviving emotional upheaval.

The recurring refrain, “Told you I got superpowers,” captures that particular feeling of vindication, the empowerment that follows betrayal, once the dust has settled and the hurt has hardened into resolve. Elsewhere, lines such as “Our conversations feel insincere” and “Why do you treat me like this?” lay bare the frustration of a relationship grown hollow, while the phrase “beta testing’s over” reframes the failed romance as a trial run, one that has now, decisively, run its course.

Emotionally direct yet laced with clever metaphor, “Superhuman” is a record that speaks to anyone navigating the aftermath of disappointment, betrayal or heartbreak. With SVNDAYPACK’s polished, globally-minded production and Damitotheworld’s expressive vocal delivery, the single marks a confident step for both acts.
