Stars turn out for Beyoncé’s ‘Cowboy Carter’ in Los Angeles

Beyoncé has launched the first leg of her highly anticipated Cowboy Carter tour in Los Angeles, and the star-studded audience at SoFi Stadium proved this ain’t no rodeo for amateurs, reports usatoday.com. Over five electrifying nights, from April 28 and culminating on May 9, Queen Bey delivered a groundbreaking spectacle that blended genres, celebrated country music and sparked cultural conversation, leaving a trail of dazzled celebrities in her wake.

Of course, Beyoncé’s inner circle, including husband Jay-Z, mother Tina Knowles and longtime friend Kelly Rowland, were steadfast supporters, gracing multiple shows. However, the Cowboy Carter kickoff also drew a powerful contingent of Hollywood heavyweights.

Oprah Winfrey, Gayle King and Tyler Perry were among the A-listers spotted on opening night. King took to Instagram to share her enthusiasm, quipping, “You meet the nicest people at a Beyoncé concert.”

Gabrielle Union also documented her Western-chic look and shared snippets from the mesmerising performance, declaring, “this ain’t Texas, but Beyoncé made it feel like it.”

The celebrity love didn’t stop there. Actresses Brie Larson and Renée Rapp were all smiles as they posed together, with Larson echoing Beyoncé’s lyrics, “It’s a real life boogie and real life hoedown.” “Texas Hold ‘Em” producer Killah B was also in attendance, expressing his awe at witnessing the crowd sing along to the history-making hit.

The impressive guest list continued with talk show host Jennifer Hudson, Olympic gymnast Jordan Chiles and Kevin from the South Korean boy band The Boyz all making appearances. A particularly heartwarming moment saw LA firefighter Sheila Kelliher Berkoh, who presented Beyoncé with the Album of the Year Grammy earlier this year, enjoying the show from the pit.

Beyoncé’s Los Angeles residency has already etched its place in history, with the singer now holding the record for the most dates played by any artiste at SoFi Stadium. The Cowboy Carter tour now saddles up for its next stop in Chicago on May 15, continuing its nine-city journey across the US and Europe before its grand finale in Las Vegas on July 26.
