Sound of Salem, a Nigerian gospel worship collective led by Prophet Joel Ogebe, has released a new single titled “Revival,” calling believers back to a place of prayer and spiritual renewal.
Known for its spontaneous worship moments and chant-led songs, Sound of Salem began as small prayer gatherings before evolving into a wider movement rooted in openness and shared worship. The collective freely offers its music, encouraging believers to carry the songs into their personal spaces of prayer and devotion.

“Revival” is a quiet, reverent worship song built on repetition and scripture-inspired imagery. Drawing from Psalm 42, the song echoes the cry of a soul longing for God, likened to a deer thirsting for streams of water. Its gentle lyrics express a desire for renewal and deeper intimacy with God.
Unlike performance-driven worship songs, “Revival” is designed for reflection rather than spectacle. It creates space for repentance and surrender, guiding listeners back to dependence on God and personal response, rather than passive observation.
“Revival” is now available on all major streaming platforms.
