Soul II Soul founder Jazzie B has an autobiography out on September 24th.
The title, A Happy Face, A Thumpin’ Bass, For a Lovin’ Race, is the same as the soundsystem icon’s longtime motto, according to ra.co.
Published by A Way With Media, the release will be followed by a UK book tour in October.
“It has been two years in the making and I’m really super proud of it,” Jazzie B told Beyond Magazine. “It is my story from growing up as a kid in London, breaking into the music scene in 1977 and the rise of the band and our remarkable journey ever since.”
