Snoop Dogg and Afrobeats star CuhDeeJah have teamed up on the latter’s new bouncy summertime single, “Bad Mama Jama”.
The accompanying video — directed by Daniel Curtis Lee — according to HipHopDX, follows CuhDeeJah and two other ladies, who are portraying maids, as they arrive late at a beautiful mansion owned by the singer.
As the video continues, Snoop meets up with CuhDeeJah and the pair kick it together as they rap.
The song itself is a remake of Carl Carlton’s 1981 funk classic “She’s a Bad Mama Jama (She’s Built, She’s Stacked),” which spent 21 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 and earned a Grammy nomination for Best R&B Vocal Performance, Male.
“Bad Mama Jama” comes shortly after CuhDeeJah wrapped her 2 Miles Ahead Southern Hospitality Tour and follows her previous single “Energy,” which dropped earlier in May and featured an appearance from Black Snoop.
