Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is set to walk free from prison six weeks earlier than originally scheduled, per music-news.com.
According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons, the disgraced music mogul’s release date has been brought forward from June 4, 2028 to April 25, 2028.

The adjustment follows Combs’ admission into a drug-abuse rehabilitation programme in November, a factor often used to reduce federal sentences. This shift comes despite a setback late last year, when his release date was briefly extended following alleged violations of prison rules at the Fort Dix Federal Correctional Institute in New Jersey.
Combs has been in custody since his arrest in September 2024. Following a high-profile two-month trial, he was convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. He was, however, acquitted of racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking charges.
The news of the revised date arrives as the legal battle continues; Combs’ legal team filed an appeal in December seeking an immediate release or a further reduction of his four-year sentence. Prosecutors formally opposed this request in February, maintaining that the current conviction should stand.
