The track, which officially drops on 2 January 2026, serves as a soulful, high-energy declaration of faith to kick off the new year. Combining Same OG’s signature urban flair with Nkennor’s melodic depth, the song explores the unwavering faithfulness of God – positioning Him as the “Surest Daddy” regardless of the uncertainties of the coming year.
The duo previously made waves when Nkennor, often referred to as Nigeria’s “Don Moen” for his traditional worship roots, pivoted into the AfroGospel space.
