Robyn debuts 2 new tracks at Brooklyn New Year’s Eve gig

Swedish pop icon Robyn marked 2026’s arrival by unveiling two unheard songs during a packed New Year’s Eve show at Brooklyn Paramount, per nme.com.

The singer, who had not staged a full set since 2019, premiered the disco-tinged “Talk To Me” and the darker, beat-heavy “Sexistential” for a sold-out crowd. Both tracks are expected to appear on a long-awaited follow-up to 2018’s Mercury-shortlisted album Honey.

Robyn’s “and friends” bill also featured DJ sets from Kindness, Olof Dreijer, Danny Krivit and Dee Diggs. Alongside the new material, she aired signature hits “Dancing On My Own” and “Show Me Love”. She returns to the same venue tonight (January 2).

Earlier on December 31, Robyn performed in Times Square as part of broadcasters Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper’s annual coverage, delivering recent single “Dopamine”.

Speculation about fresh music has mounted since longtime collaborator Klas Åhlund told the Nordmark podcast last autumn that he had “just finished a new Robyn album that’s coming out”.
