Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD) is set to be honoured with the “Creative Industry Legend Award” at the Nigerian-American Chamber of Commerce (NACC) February Breakfast Meeting. The event, scheduled for February 6, 2025, at Four Points by Sheraton Hotel in Lagos, will combine economic discourse with recognition of Nigeria’s entertainment industry.
NACC National President Alhaji Sheriff Balogun will preside over the meeting, which centres on Nigeria’s 2025 economic outlook. KPMG Professional Services Managing Partner Tola Adeyemi will deliver the keynote address, leading a distinguished panel of experts including Dr Muda Yusuf of the Centre for the Promotion of Private Enterprise and NACCIMA President Dele K. Oye.
“This year’s forum uniquely bridges the gap between business and entertainment, recognizing RMD’s profound impact on Nigeria’s creative economy,” shared Ms. Wofai Samuel, NACC’s Acting Director General. The discussion will cover critical economic indicators including GDP growth, inflation rates, and consumer spending trends.
The breakfast meeting, a cornerstone event for the 64-year-old chamber, continues its tradition of fostering Nigerian-American trade relations while acknowledging cultural ambassadors.
Dr Nneka Okekearu from Pan-Atlantic University’s Enterprise Development Centre will moderate the session, ensuring a comprehensive dialogue on Nigeria’s economic trajectory.
