Offset in stable condition after shooting

American rapper Offset is in a stable condition and remains under medical observation after being shot on Monday evening in Hollywood, Florida, per variety.com. A spokesperson for the artist confirmed he is receiving care at a local hospital for injuries sustained during the incident near the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

Seminole Police Department officials reported that the shooting occurred in a valet area shortly after 7 p.m. local time. The victim, 34-year-old Kiari Cephus, known professionally as Offset, was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital with what authorities described as non-life-threatening injuries.

Police secured the site immediately and confirmed that two individuals have been detained in connection with the incident. While the investigation remains ongoing, officials stated that the situation was quickly contained and there is no further threat to the public. The casino and hotel have continued normal operations.

Cephus rose to international fame as a member of the influential hip-hop trio Migos, alongside Quavo and the late Takeoff. Since the group’s hiatus, he has established a successful solo career, most recently releasing the albums Kiara in 2025 and Haunted by Fame.
