Octavia Spencer has apologised to Britney Spears and Sam Asghari over her ‘prenup’ comment, following their engagement.
It all started after Britney announced her engagement to her long-term boyfriend Sam Asghari over the weekend.
The Ma actress slid into the comments below to jokingly suggest that her beau pens a prenuptial agreement before their big day.
But taking to Instagram a few days after, Octavia explained that there was no malice behind the comment, and that she had apologised to the lovebirds.
The Oscar winner, 51, wrote that her intention was to ‘make them laugh not cause pain’ and she went on to share a snap of the lovebirds to her Instagram page Wednesday with a lengthy apology about her comment.
Sam reportedly took to the comments section of her apology post and thanked her for the kind words but added that he has ‘no hard feelings whatsoever.’
Britney, 39, and Sam, 27, shared the happy engagement news on Sunday.
