NMIXX announces 1st full-length album “Blue Valentine”

K-pop powerhouse NMIXX is set to release their highly anticipated debut full-length album, “Blue Valentine,” on October 13, per nme.com. JYP Entertainment announced the news, marking the group’s first studio album since their debut in February 2022.

The upcoming record will be the six-member girl group’s first release since their fourth mini-album, “Fe3O4: Forward,” which dropped in March. That EP concluded the group’s “Fe3O4” trilogy, a series of releases that showcased their unique “MIXX POP” sound.

While the tracklist and lead single have yet to be revealed, fans are already buzzing with anticipation. The announcement included a motion poster that showed a cake crumbling to reveal a beating blue heart, hinting at a new sonic and conceptual direction for the group.

Comprised of members Lily, Haewon, Sullyoon, Bae, Jiwoo, and Kyujin, NMIXX has solidified its reputation as a “hexagonal girl group” with exceptional skills in vocals, dance, and visuals. The release of “Blue Valentine” is expected to further showcase their diverse talents and cement their place in the global K-pop scene.

The group will follow the album’s release with their first solo concert in late November, promising a packed end of the year for fans.
