Nicki Minaj has announced she is completing her US citizenship paperwork after receiving a Gold Card from President Donald Trump, per music-news.com.
The Trinidadian-born rapper, whose birth name is Onika Maraj, shared a photo on X displaying the card, which reportedly fast-tracks residency. “Finalising that citizenship paperwork as we speak as per MY wonderful, gracious, charming President,” she wrote, thanking fans for a petition supporting her status.

According to government descriptions, the Trump Gold Card offers a pathway to citizenship for individuals who pay a $15,000 processing fee and provide a $1 million contribution. A Trump administration spokesperson appeared to confirm the news, reposting the rapper’s photo with the caption: “Oh she’s super BASED.”
Minaj, 43, has become an increasingly vocal supporter of the President. Speaking at the Trump Accounts Summit in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, she declared herself his “number one fan.”
“The hate… does not affect me at all,” Minaj told the crowd. “It actually motivates me to support him more. We’re not going to let them get away with bullying him.”
During the summit, the Super Bass star also pledged a donation to fund her fans’ Section 530A investment accounts.
