Obedo PF is stepping into the spotlight with the release of his powerful debut EP, “Hope for Ghetto Youths.” The five-track project is a heartfelt and genre-blending body of work that channels the dreams, pain and resilience of young people striving for a better life. Born and raised in an environment where inspiration and hardship often collide, the Nigerian Afro-fusion artiste translates his personal experiences into a sound that is both authentic and uplifting.
The EP opens with “Imperfect,” a soul-driven introduction that uses scattered sounds to create a harmony reflective of street life. On “Focus,” Obedo PF delivers an energetic mix of Afrobeats and Amapiano rhythms, offering spiritual affirmation and celebrating the grind. The journey continues with “Believe,” a track that balances vulnerability with a lively beat, serving as a purposeful party jam that speaks to the inner strength required to succeed.
Collaborations with rising talents Wizard Chan, VibemanJay and Pekeys add depth and a sense of community to the project. As Obedo PF explains, “I made this EP as a mirror and a megaphone for every youth like me who started with nothing but still dares to dream. This is our sound. Our truth. Our hope.”
“Hope for Ghetto Youths” is now available on all major streaming platforms and the artiste is on Instagram & X, where he makes regular updates.
