The National Theatre, Lagos, will this Easter host Disloyal Judas, a new opera production by the Crown Troupe that offers a fresh dramatic interpretation of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Scheduled across two performances on Good Friday and Holy Saturday, April 3 and 4, the production examines the intertwining themes of loyalty, betrayal, sacrifice and redemption through a blend of compelling storytelling and diverse musical genres.

The Crown Troupe, led by Segun Adefila and known for its innovative approach to Nigerian theatre, promises audiences an emotionally resonant evening combining dynamic stage performances with soul-stirring music.
The curtain rises at 5pm on both evenings. The venue is the National Theatre, Lagos. Gate fee is ₦5,000.
