Afro-gospel sensation and 2024 MOBO Award winner, Limoblaze, has released his highly anticipated album, Young & Chosen. This new project, which blends afrobeats, R&B and amapiano, according to a statement, is a tribute to his Nigerian roots and his journey from Lagos to London. The album is now available for streaming and comes ahead of his headline show at London’s O2 Kentish Town Forum on September 14th.
Young & Chosen features a dynamic mix of tracks that explore themes of purpose, faith and self-expression. The album opens with the self-titled track, which sets the tone with traditional African rhythms. Notable collaborations include the lead single, “No Greater Love,” featuring Kentucky-native Joe L Barnes, and the viral hit “Good God II” with Naomi Raine, which has already garnered significant attention on TikTok.
Limoblaze’s new music video for “No Greater Love” is also out now, showcasing his unique blend of gospel and Afrobeats. The album includes other standout tracks like “Holy Father,” “Blesser” and “Wait,” featuring Reach Records’ artiste WHATUPRG.
