Afropop innovator King Perryy, who is also known as Mr Continental, has launched Continental Rave, a six-track EP that is now streaming across all platforms.
This project marks his fifth release and stands as his most rhythmically charged work to date. Timed perfectly for “Detty December”, the EP merges high-energy EDM with the infectious vitality of Afropop, resulting in a continuous invitation to dance and celebrate.

The EP immediately sets the tone with the opener, “OOTD (Ohema On The Dancefloor),” a bright, pulsing track that brilliantly fuses Afrobeats melody with electronic drive. Following this is “Ogogoro,” which cleverly samples Olu Maintain’s classic “Yahooze” as King Perryy draws a comparison between the intoxicating rush of love and Nigeria’s fiery local spirit.
The momentum continues on “Tulemon,” where King Perryy collaborates with highly sought-after African DJ Dope Caesar and hype maestro Active Boy. Their contributions, particularly Active Boy’s energetic ad-libs, transform the track into a full-blown rave. The tracks “Feeling” and “No You Can’t Be Sober (NYCBS)” serve as the perfect weekend anthems – light, addictive and explicitly tailored for Friday nights. The project is tied together with a kinetic cohesion by the closer, “High Frequency,” a sleek and synth-driven finale.
With the release of Continental Rave, King Perryy is unequivocally “setting the pace”. The EP is described as “music for bodies in motion, hearts wide open, and nights with no curfew”.
