Keefe D links Diddy to $1m Tupac hit in shocking police testimony

Murder suspect Keefe D has made explosive allegations against Sean “Diddy” Combs, claiming the music mogul placed a $1 million bounty on rapper Tupac Shakur’s life, according to a hiphopdx.com report citing police interview documents obtained by USA Today.

The Los Angeles gang member, currently awaiting trial for Tupac’s 1996 murder, submitted these interview transcripts as part of his legal defense strategy. The claims add another layer to the decades-old mystery surrounding the rap legend’s death.

Diddy has categorically denied any involvement in Tupac’s murder through his attorney, stating: “Mr. Combs’s acquittal on the trafficking and RICO charges proves what we have been saying about the civil cases since day one: they are all fabricated attempts to extort windfall payments from an innocent man.”

Keefe D, who has repeatedly denied killing Tupac despite facing murder charges, was recently sentenced to 16-40 months for a separate prison brawl incident. He claimed self-defense in that altercation, telling the court he was simply “protecting myself.”

The defendant will likely serve his sentence while held without bail until his Tupac murder trial begins in February. His legal team has filed motions to dismiss the case, arguing insufficient evidence and claiming the prosecution relies solely on “uncorroborated extrajudicial statements.”
