Jennifer Aniston has decided to skip the Emmys this year despite the four nominations for the Friends reunion.
The 52-year-old revealed she’s chosen not to join in with the large event, which will require proof of vaccination for attendance, because she’s still ‘taking baby steps’ about socialising with other people amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Speaking candidly on Monday’s Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the Rachel Green actress stated: ‘No, I will not be going’, according to Metro.
The publication added that, while noting that the HBO reunion had been nominated and not the actual cast, she continued: ‘I think Ben Winston, our producer and director, [who’s] incredible, who put the whole thing together [will go].’
‘This is a big step for me to just be here. I’m just [taking] baby steps,’ the Horrible Bosses star added of appearing on the late-night show as one of her first major post-quarantine outings.
The Bruce Almighty star might not be appearing at Sunday’s 73rd annual Primetime Emmys show but plenty of famous names have been confirmed for the event.
