Jared Leto said he fell in love with his character in House Of Gucci after reading the script while promoting the film Thursday on The Late Late Show With James Corden.
According to Daily Mail, English comedian James, 43, fawned over Leto, 50, over his portrayal of Paolo Gucci in the film directed by Sir Ridley Scott, 84.
‘It is an extraordinary performance. You’ve been nominated for two SAG Awards, a Critics Choice Award and I’m certain you’ll be nominated for an Academy Award. It’s an outrage if you don’t,’ James gushed.
Jared, who wore a funky white suit with black stars and faux leather sleeves, said that he had worked with the Gucci brand, but ‘didn’t know the true story of the family.’
‘So I was pretty shocked. It’s a wild one. But I read the script about this family that started Gucci and fell in love with this character named Paolo Gucci and the rest is history but the experience of a lifetime,’ Jared said.
