Sony Pictures and Wayfarer Studios’ adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s best-selling novel, “It Ends With Us,” starring Blake Lively, Justin Baldoni, and Brandon Sklenar, is set to be released on February 9, 2024, according to THR.
The film, directed by Justin Baldoni (Jane The Virgin) will see Lively as Lily Bloom as she begins a relationship with neurosurgeon Ryle, played by Baldoni, but their relationship soon turns toxic as all is not what it seems and Lily’s high school sweetheart comes back into her life.
Also starring in the film is Jenny Slate (Everything Everywhere All At Once) and Hasan Minhaj (The Daily Show).
“It Ends With Us” was adapted by Chrissy Hall (I Am Not Okay with This) with her, Alex Saks, Jamey Heath producing.
Serving as executive producers are Lively, Hoover, Baldoni, Steve Sarowitz and Andrew Calof.
Flickering Myth writes that though coming from a complicated past, Lily Bloom (Lively) has always known the life she wants. While living in Boston, she meets neurosurgeon Ryle Kincaid (Baldoni) and believes she may very well have found her soulmate. Soon, however, questions arise about their relationship, and to complicate matters her high school love interest, Atlas Corrigan (Brandon Sklenar), comes back into the picture, putting her relationship with Ryle in jeopardy.
