A new immersive exhibition called “Hip Hop Til Infinity” will open at Manhattan’s Hall des Lumières on July 26th, in celebration of hip-hop’s 50th anniversary.
The exhibition, which will take visitors on a journey through hip-hop’s different eras and regions, from skate parks to the stage, to the metaverse, will feature interactive programming, including virtual concerts, live panels and conversations, listening parties, artist meetings, and more.
The exhibition is produced by Mass Appeal, with graphics and animation by Superbien.
Tickets are currently on sale for the showcase Essence magazine writes is part of Mass Appeal’s Hip Hop 50 initiative, which celebrates hip-hop’s anniversary in the most authentic and globally impactful way possible.
