But what many do not know is that it was directed by a “Nigerian”. Yes.
Jeymes Samuel, the director of “The Harder They Fall” is the younger brother of Grammy winning singer, Seal.
Now you know why Fela’s “Let’s start” is the soundtrack to one of the film’s climatic scenes.

Jeymes Samuel is according to a wikipedia entry, ” a British singer-songwriter, music producer and filmmaker from London, England. Samuel has a cinematic element to his music and has accompanied most of his releases with a short film.”
He is also known by his stage name The Bullitts.
Samuel also served as Executive Music Supervisor on the soundtrack for the 2013 film, The Great Gatsby.”
