Glastonbury 2025 final tickets sell out in record-breaking 20mins

The final batch of Glastonbury 2025 tickets disappeared in just 20 minutes this morning, leaving thousands of hopeful festival-goers empty-handed after an unprecedented surge in demand, as reported by faroutmagazine.co.uk. Festival organisers took to social media to confirm the lightning-fast sellout, apologising to disappointed fans who missed their last opportunity to attend this year’s star-studded event.

This morning’s resale represented the final chance for music lovers to secure their spot at the iconic Somerset festival, following November’s general sale and Thursday’s coach package resale, which itself sold out in 30 minutes. The rapid disappearance of tickets underscores Glastonbury’s enduring status as the UK’s most coveted music event, despite this year’s price increase from £355 to £378.50.

The 2025 lineup features an eclectic mix of legendary and contemporary artistes, with Neil Young, The 1975, and Olivia Rodrigo headlining the Pyramid Stage, while Charli XCX, Loyle Carner, and The Prodigy will lead The Other Stage. Additional performers include Alanis Morissette, Biffy Clyro, Deftones, Raye, The Libertines, and Wet Leg.

Notably absent will be Pulp, despite recent reunion activity. Frontman Jarvis Cocker confirmed in a BBC Radio 2 interview that while he will personally attend the festival and might DJ, the band will not perform.

The 2025 festival, scheduled for June 27-29, will be the last before Glastonbury takes its traditional “fallow year” in 2026 to allow the grounds to recover, making this year’s tickets particularly valuable for dedicated festival attendees.
