Singer and songwriter Gene Noble has returned with his new single “Whatever It Is,” Rated R&B reports.
According to the report, the singer delicately tells a potential partner that he is ready to embark on their love journey over gentle guitar strums.
Noble explains, “There’s a connection… a feeling that deeply connects those in love that’s beyond physical. It’s emotional. It is visible without being explainable. This song is about wanting whatever that is.”
“Whatever It Is” arrives with a video directed by Ashley Braithwaite.
“I’ve been touring the entire year, which means most of my time has been spent in other countries by myself. The visual is a depiction of me as an observer of love in many forms. Looking for that connection whatever that connection is. The video was shot in London, Paris, Hamburg, and Amsterdam,” shares Noble.
“Whatever It Is” is Noble’s first original song since “Champagne Jack,” which was released in November 2020. In July of the same year, he released his single “Matching Tattoos.” The song has more than 1.2 million streams on Spotify.
Last month, he released his cover of Jazmine Sullivan’s “Lost One” and Kehlani’s “Everything.”
