Playwright and Nobel laureate Woke Soyinka, today sent out a missive conveying to establishments that have curated literary experiences around his person and brand of his inability to make the forthcoming appointments as previously agreed.
The message was released today as regards the postponement of two specific events. The event to commemorate world poetry day titled ‘Voices in The Cause of Earth’ curated by Providus Bank and the exclusive presentation of professor Woke Soyinka’s book, ‘Beyond Aesthetics’ organized by Bookcraft.

This is to notify you that two key events associated with, and directly involving physical participation by Professor Wole Soyinka, have been postponed indefinitely due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Kindly note that organisers of the events have separately issued public statements, and will inform of new dates in the future.
