The new trailer for upcoming sci-fi Dune has been getting the undivided attention of fans since it was released this week. Starring an incredible cast led by Zendaya and Timothee Chalamet, the highly-anticipated movie released in cenemas on October 22, adapts Frank Herbert’s legendary novel of the same name.
The epic trailer starts with Zendaya’s Chani telling us: ‘My planet Arrakas is so beautiful when the sun is low. Rolling over the sands, you can see spice in the air.’
As things turn serious, she says: ‘The outsiders ravaged our lands in front of our eyes. Their cruelty to my people is all I’ve known.’
Dune is set to follow Timothee’s character Paul, the son of a noble family entrusted with the protection of the most valuable asset and most vital element in the galaxy, ‘the spice’, which helps prolong human life and provides superhuman abilities.
Starring alongside Zendaya, Timothee and Oscar are Rebecca Ferguson (Lady Jessica), Jason Momoa (Duncan Idaho), Josh Brolin (Gurney Halleck), Dave Bautista (Glossu Rabban), and Javier Bardem (Stilgar).
