Doechii, Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan, Brandi Carlile and a constellation of other stars are scheduled to announce the Grammy Award nominations in a highly anticipated livestream event on Thursday, November 7, music-news.com.
The event provides an interesting backdrop as several of the high-profile announcers are themselves strong contenders for a coveted golden gramophone nomination.

Sabrina Carpenter, who already secured two Grammys this past February, is heavily tipped for nods in major categories. Her track Manchild is being discussed for Record of the Year and Song of the Year, while her album Man’s Best Friend could earn an Album of the Year nomination.
Chappell Roan, fresh off her Best New Artist win at the 2025 ceremony, is similarly positioned for potential nominations. Her song The Subway is a possibility for Record of the Year and Song of the Year.
Doechii, the winner of the most recent Best Rap Album award, is in the running for Record of the Year and Song of the Year for her track Anxiety.
The veteran, Brandi Carlile, an 11-time Grammy winner, is a potential nominee for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album for Who Believes in Angels?, her collaboration with Elton John.
In the musical theatre category, Nicole Scherzinger, who won a Tony for Best Actress for Sunset Blvd in June, could be in line for her first Grammy nomination for Best Musical Theatre Album.
Other prominent figures set to announce categories during the livestream include Angelique Kidjo, CeCe Winans, David Foster, Jon Batiste, Karol G, Little Big Town, and Lizzo.
The annual Grammy Awards, hosted by The Recording Academy, celebrate and honour outstanding achievements across the music industry. Winners receive the iconic golden gramophone statuettes, representing the highest form of recognition in music.
The final Grammy telecast on CBS is scheduled for February 1, 2026. Starting with the 2027 awards, the telecast will move to its new broadcast home on ABC and Disney.
