Actress Jennifer Wilson has died aged 89, Daily Star reports.
According to the report, Jennifer had been acting for many years prior to her death after landing one of her earliest roles in the 1957 BBC adaptation Nicholas Nickleby.
Aside from her stint in Coronation Street and Casualty, Jennifer also appeared in multiple 70s shows including The Brothers and Special Branch.
Jennifer is said to have died at her home in France earlier this week, but her cause of death is unknown.
A family friend confirmed her death.
Jennifer appeared on countless TV shows while having minor roles in many popular soaps with her last stint taking place in 2015 on an episode of Doctors.
Her career spanned almost six decades and mostly consisted of stints on the BBC and on ITV, including Coronation Street in 2014 as Mrs Bradbury.
The scene saw her make a two-hour coach trip to Blackpool in October as she struggled to set up her deckchair, but Roy Cropper assisted them.
It was during a sweet episode of Corrie as Roy was away to scatter Hayley Cropper’s ashes, but after he saw the couple bickering he didn’t complete the task and returned to Weatherfield.
Jennifer appeared on screen with her real-life husband Brian Peck, who played spouse Mr Bradbury on the soap.
