Chude Jideonwo is set to host a landmark gathering in Lagos this Friday, February 27, marking a pivotal moment in his global book tour.
To take place at Rovingheights Bookstore, Landmark Centre, Victoria Island by 5pm, the event serves as the official Lagos homecoming for his Amazon-bestselling memoir, How Depression Saved My Life.

Jideonwo, widely recognised as one of Africa’s most influential interviewers and the host of the viral talk show #WithChude, will lead an evening dedicated to emotional truth, mental health and personal resilience.
Following a string of successful international appearances, this Friday’s session is designed as an intimate space for young creatives, professionals and culture-shapers.

Attendees, who can order the book on the publisher Narrative Landscape Press’s website, can expect live readings from the memoir, alongside a keynote conversation where Jideonwo will share the vulnerabilities of his journey, moving from the heights of media success to a deeply personal reckoning with mental health.
Clearly more than a book launch; it is shaping up to be a movement.
“Set your reminder, mark your calendar, and tell a friend. We can’t wait to see you this Friday,” said a statement by Narrative Landscape Press.
The independent publisher said the evening will feature deep-dive discussions and those who attend will “hear directly from Chude as he shares his journey of healing, courage and the power of telling your story”.
Having recently been named a TIME 100 Honoree, Jideonwo continues to use his platform to challenge the stigma surrounding depression and to champion a new era of authentic storytelling.
The event is expected to draw a crowd of industry leaders and supporters of the #WithChude community.
